Every summer, the SFA Film Program produces a feature length film made by students from throughout the College of Fine Arts. This provides these students will an opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of actually making a full-length feature film. Following a lengthy post-production period, the film will be debuted, with appropriate fanfare, at the annual Nacogdoches Film Festival.

Each year, using money earned at our annual film festival and other fundraising activities, it is our goal to provide a generous donation to help offset the cost of producing this film. The exact amount of money awarded each year will be determined by the Board of Directors of the Nacogdoches Art Alliance, dependent upon money available as of April 1 of each year.

An important part of our mission is to help develop and nurture the future of film making in all media platforms. Providing learning opportunities for young and budding filmmakers is at the core of who were are and what we do.
