Every year, the Nacogdoches Film Festival brings to town a number of talented individuals who make their living in the film industry. As part of the festival’s program, we offer several (generally 3-5) panel discussions—on Saturday—featuring knowledgeable industry professionals.
Subject matter for these panels covers a wide-range of topics, such as making a short film on a budget, acting for film, cinematography, legal issues, editing techniques, documentary film making, and getting your screenplay to the screen. Each panel will have a designated moderator and questions from the audience are encouraged.
These panel discussions are free to college and high school students.
An important part of our mission is to help develop and nurture the future of film making in all media platforms. Providing learning opportunities for young and budding filmmakers is at the core of who were are and what we do.
